Reception and restaurant staff very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good value and the room very clean and comfortable. Location was good for the ferry to UK. Would recommend.

we appreciated the hotel on the whole and had a pleasant evening and diner. We will surely stay again.

Brit hotels are franchises and have the consequent blandness, but in this case all staff were friendly, efficient and all you would expect. I have rated the location as bad because it is a long way from the old town and rail facilities, and you need a taxi to return to it after 8pm. Certainly a decent alternative to Campanile or Ibis.
