Lovely relaxed meal - had to fight with the key and door to get into room - maybe this should be fixed?

Lovely staff. Bed was quite soft. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were very good. Motel is very close to the main road so can be a bit noisey. Also, room walls are very thin. unfortunately, we had a family nextdoor with 2 very noisey boys so very early wake-up for us. Also, walkways around the units are timber so when someone walks around the unit, it is noisey and sounds like someone is banging on your wall (especially when they are very energetic boys running around for about half an hour!)

This has been a classy place in the past but is showing its age. Surprised to find you only get TV 1, 2 & 3. Had a comfortable sleep though.

Great being right next to Tongariro river. Catch trout less than 1min walk. Good walking tracks. freindly staff. Will go back again. Enjoyed the stay.

Very accommodating, even though we had a pre-arranged very late arrival. Breakfast was delicious and very filling!
