On arrival I was made to feel welcome by the reception staff who were very helpful concerning a mistake in my booking. The hotel has small rooms, but was comfortable and adequate for my stay. It's quite a long bus ride into the city, but public transport is frerquent and at a reasonable price. Apleichau is a small town on an island connected by road to the southern part of Hong Kong island. It wasn't easy to find the hotel. The taxi driver didn't know it, but when I told him the name of the street (in Chinese) he found it quickly. I would certainly stay there again as the price is very reasonable.

We stayed for 2 weeks. Price was good but very poor service & tidiness. There was no spa as per the advertisement. We discussed this with the reception, they said only the other bigger Tea House has it and they wouldn't do anything to compensate. Not a very clean place either. There was hair in the shower when we first arrived, floor wasn't cleaned, stains on the wall. We have asked the reception twice to vaccumm and nothing was done. Sheet wasn't changed even though it got dirty. Walls between rooms were paper thin, we could hear next door talking, using the bathroom etc. We have asked if we could change to a different room & had to keep asking for several times till they said no. The room was much smaller than the pic. And the fridge was not cold at all. Wouldn't recommend to stay in this place at all.
