I was going to write a bad review regarding the room we were given, but the helpful staff gave us a better room as one became available. Something to think about : We always book our holiday in July, & I would expect to get a better room from the start instead of waiting for a better room halfway through the holiday. Example : Firstly, our check in time was delayed 2 & a half hours according to your internet information of a 1pm checkin time. Secondly, we were given a room on floor 2 were we could bearly see the beach from our apartment. Thirdly, after being given this room, it wasn't up to standard eg. (I had the curtain rod fall & just missed my head & air conditioning wasn't working properly in the main bedroom). As per The Bottom Line, Yes I would recommend this Hotel to a friend if the above mentioned was improved.

Like a huge amount of accommodation on the GC, this is a privately owned flat which is let out by a management company. Aircon/heater in living room not working. Various other niggles. Looked like dried blood on the bed head so told front desk and they said it would be cleaned off. It wasn't. Bed springs a bit noisy. Shower OK but dead cockroach in bathroom. Kitchen facilities OK but bear in mind they do not make up your room each day like a hotel. Nor do they replenish the tea and coffee. And like most things Gold Coast, it was very expensive for what you get.

Was booked with a one bedroom apartment but finally automatically upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. A very big room, but can be better if the room is a bit more modern. 1 mins walk from the surfers beach, a very good value for cost choice
