This apartment was in a great location. Rooms were spacious, just a little tired. We had a problem with our booking,as we were one bed short, and the manager was extremely rude & blamed it on the people that made the booking. She made plenty of excuses, but in the end my 2 year old niece had to sleep on lounge cushions on the floor otherwise they were going to charge us $35.00 extra per night. Was not a fantasic start to our holiday and certainly put a sour taste in our mouths for the rest of the holiday. We had made the correct booking and I even rang the week before just to make sure everything was okay. None of that mattered in her eyes. The rest of the staff were excellent & helpful, but it certainly did not come from the top.

Very run down, furniture needed to be steamed cleaned. The arms were dirty and very old, chair outside on balcony was torn and discusting you couldn't sit on it. Beds needed new mattresses. No hair dryer in bathrooms you had to ask, bathrooms need to be modernised very old. Needed a good vacuum under lounges and furniture. I won't be staying there again, would have thought for the money we paid we would have had a much nicer apartment.

Really great location, facilities etc and the Staff were helpful and friendly. However the room was not very clean. The floor was dirty, the dishes, glasses etc did not appear to have been properly washed and there were silverfish everywhere. I would stay there again however I'd be calling ahead to ensure that this did not happen again. Plus also beware if you use all of the detergent to wash dishes etc, you have to pay, yes pay for more detergent. This is not really acceptable.

Great location and a nice big apartment, although a little old and tired - could really do with a lot of maintenance and a freshen up. A few little comforts that I consider basic but were missing - a hair-dryer, bath plug, DVD/CD player, a mattress for the pull-out sofa bed etc. We were told that individual owners choose what to put in their units, so it pays to check when you book. Also, our designated car space was at the end of the lower basement carpark and the lift only went to the basement - we had to load our bags into 2 trolleys and push them up a steep driveway to get to the lift. The balcony around the large lounge/dining area gave us beautiful views of the ocean, Surfers Paradise high-rises, and the mountains and sunset in the distance. We booked this resort thinking it was inside the race precinct for the Gold Coast 600, but we were a couple of blocks away. Still, we were in walking distance for both the track and lots of restaurants and attractions.
