The hotel was under construction on some floors and it caused a large amount of noise. They moved us to another room, but it was on the floor right under the noise.

Rooms are comfortable and the staff is always nice but what brings me back is the location. Right in the center of the Quarter.

This hotel was in an amazing location right off Bourbon St. Half a block to all lgbt activities and the famous New Orleans hand Grenades! My partner and I recieved a free upgrade to a ground floor suite. The only negative review I would give is that the upstairs toilet did not flush and we had to call for repair.

Location is key. You are at walking distance from the nightlife, stores, museums, art galleries, music venues, restaurants... but the night life doesn't invade your hotel room. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Would've given 5 starts if my room had a balcony, and had a problem with hot water, quickly resolved by the staff though. Definitely would recommend.

The location was very close to Burbon Street. Staff was polite and friendly. We had a fabulous time, just don't rent a car because there is no parking available.

Took daughters for 21st Birthdays, location was perfect for them to do what they wanted to do (NIGHTLIFE) and poolside during the day and for what we (parents) wanted to do: walking in morning, classes and shopping, etc. Hotel staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating, except the General Manager who wouldn't even acknowledge his guests when encountering them in the hall or lobby.

The Bourbon Orleans was a wonderful getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better location. It is right in the middle of Bourbon street and Royal Street and is only a couple of blocks away from Jackson Square and Decatur Street. Our room was a beautiful two story room for less than $100 a night. The hotel itself has a beautiful, southern charm. And, even though it is in prime location, we heard no noise from Bourbon Street at all during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pleasant and friendly. Close to everything. We went out for night life and in the morning we went for a walk, then to the aquarium- all within walking distance.

Stayed at this hotel during JazzFest. Was relatively happy with my stay. As my boyfriend and I left the hotel he had realized that he left a poster that he had bought in his room. We called the hotel and asked that it be shipped to our home if it wasn't too much trouble. Needless to say, the hotel had charged my credit card $46.26!!! If they would have told me it would have cost 4x the cost of the actual poster I would have said keep it. I considered looking past the uncleanliness of this hotel because of its location, but now I know that these people are scammers. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Go to a better hotel in New Orleans, you may pay a little bit more, but at least you know that you won't get scammed. Ridiculous

This hotel was in the right in the heart of the French Quarter, providing easy access to all the great sights. It was charming, and nicely decorated. The staff were always ready to assist with any needs. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Nola!

This hotel is centrally located right near Bourbon St and Jackson Square. There is often a party atmosphere by the "pool", which is much smaller than the pictures imply. Our room was on the main level, opening out to St. Anne street, and was therefore really noisy with the traffic and service entrance loading. Overall, nice place to stay, but next time we'll find something a little more off the beaten path.

The best part about this hotel is the location! It was nice and clean, always important! No refrigerator in the room - so we couldn't bring back all our great food :( The pool was great and had a cute atmosphere. The staff was friendly but when we checked in a 3pm - there was a "staff meeting" and no one at the desk could assign us our key, thought that was strange - she said they would call us when we could pick up our key and we never received a call. That is my only complaint.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. We booked two rooms for a total of three days. We would gladly return there again.

Great location one block from Jackson Square, large rooms. Staff were friendly but didn't seem to know that much about New Orleans. No one was rude but no one went out of their way to be helpful. Concierge left early each day so I don't know what you do about obtaining restuarant reservations if you decide after 5:00.

Beautiful view out our room window onto the pool area. This hotel was quiet and relaxing but is in an excellent location. You can literally step out the door and walk to all the area attractions.
