Boulevard Hotel Ocean Drive Miami Guest Reviews (12)
This is a filthy rundown hotel is desperately in need of remodeling. It certainly was NOT worth the $107 I paid for one night. The restaurants on the sidewalk are loud late into the night and then early in the morning we had to listen to the dumpsters being rolled through the alley to the trash truck. We got very little sleep. The check in time is to late so we had to sit out by the street in the heat for 2 hours. They wouldn't even let us store our luggage so we could find something else to do until we could check in.

Bought package because it was inexpensive. I found out why. I expected a cheap cinder block room ,a little out of date.I got a room that was beyond dirty. Nasty pillow cases, towels that were stained, smelly room. It was a busy weekend and knew it would be hard to find a place. Lysol sprayed the room and figured if we can go camping we can make it threw this. In the middle of the second night we heard dripping turned on the light to see water coming out of the ceiling fan. The closet had water running in it and all our clothes were soaked. The water smelled bad.We were in 217 and there were rooms over us. Don't know how the rain was getting to us but the hall was dripping also.2am when the front desk clerk said she could move us. The other room smelled worse and there were roaches in the hall. We had enough. I put my stuff in the dry room and walked to other hotels in the area It was pouring down rain and 3 am when I found a room. While I was moving the fire alarm went off twice and the clerk turned it off. She was sitting on the porch out front talking to someone I had to tell her the phone on the desk was ringing. I can't believe she turned off the alarm and sat outside. If the building was on fire I guess she was safe out there. How bad could it have burned it was raining inside. I came back at 10:15 to see a manager and they said he was coming in late. When He arrived I asked them if he was the manger and he said no. Then asked why I didn't just stay in the other room.I said he was nuts it was a pig sty .Then I had ORBITZ call and talk to them. They got the manager ,same guy, to refund 2 nights out of three. They should have returned all of it. My clothes were wet and I was going hotel to hotel at 3 am to find a room. This hotel is a hazard and needs to be closed. The people that eat on the sidewalk restaurant for this hotel really need to look inside before they eat here. I wouldn't recommend this to my dog or even the bum sleeping in the park even if it was free. Orbitz should remove them from listing here so others don't end up like us. The world would be a better place if this hotel was washed into the sea and a city dump put in it's place.

If your not afraid of a cockroaches in the gall every once incapacitated while, old carpet, small rooms, and maybe a mouse the will come and visit....then this is the place for you. It's best to use it for sleeping only. Not for being awake. I went to the walgreens and purchased an airfreshner so that I cab get rid of the old smell. I parked the entire time I was in Miami, so the room didn't bother me. Its true what they say "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". Very good location. Across the street is the beach.

I love the location I do feel that they should give the rooms a full evaluation and upgrade around beds and tubs :)

I've always liked the Boulevard. It's a C- facility in an A+ location. The staff is nice and helpful and if you are not into showing off, it has everything you need: Clean rooms (small but not tiny), Good A/C and heat. Small but well functioning bathrooms Good working TV (basic cable only and the remote may not work). It's on my favorite block of Ocean AV with the beach across the street and many good restaurants, including its own Sea Cafe. All at the cheapest rates!
