Location
Situated on the northern shore of Venice Island, the Di Dogi is five kilometres from the airport and one kilometre from the railway station. The hotel is also close to the vaporetti which travel the islands of San Michele and Murano, famous for its glassware.
Rooms
The seventy two rooms and suites at the Dei Dogi have high ceilings are decorated in true Venetian style. All rooms come equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning, mini bar, safe, and luxurious en suite facilities.

I’ve always had excellent service but this time it was beyond brilliant so maybe Boscolo has read the negative reviews and they’re bending over backwards. This is a sumptuous 17th century palace with an intimate feel and a long garden of century-old trees, gravel paths, rose pergolas and a covered jetty to watch sunset over the lagoon. The staff are efficient, attentive and kind. The hotel is not next to St Marks’s but neither is it a backwater. You’re 10 minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Or jump on the free hotel launch. The area is quiet and picturesque, with the feel of a fishing village Arrival is simple: Orange line to Orto and you’re 4 mins walk from the hotel. But it’s fiddly, so download a map first. I’ve always had a perfect room. But if you book for autumn/spring and they’re full and it would kill you not to have a huge room, go elsewhere. Though in my experience you’ll have that problem everywhere. This is paradise. And if beauty isn’t your thing, why go to Venice?

Beautiful hotel,in quiet but accessible location.The staff were friendly and exteemely helpful.Would stay again.Our room was small but it had everything we needed so it is not a criticism.Lovely garden onto the lagoon.

great position ,check where free launch leaves from in san marco a little difficult to find but completely free.the same trip in water taxi 100 euros and the hotel boat is more luxurious.my husband and myself will definately come back here.

Quit location was very welcome after the busy city. Although within a very pleasant walking distance of St Marks Square, the free water shuttle was an enjoyable experience. An extensive choice at breakfast meant that all tastes were catered for. All the staff were helpful and courteous, and made us feel very welcome.

Staff seemed unable to be helpful when needed. Mosquitoes in the garden restaurant was bad enough. Mosquitoes inside the hotel not acceptable. A beautifully modified and decorated building, so a pity that it was not better run. Summary : Very splendid on the surface, rather disappointing underneath when it mattered.
