Located within walking distance to river, which gives easy access to Skytrain; Boonsiri is also in easy walking distance of The Palace, Wat Pho, the museum, Khao San Road etc. The rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. I have stayed here previously and chose to come back. I did have problems with the hot water this time, but didn't follow it up again. There is good aircon, but no bar fridge or tea/coffee making facilities. At the moment the breakfast room is closed, and breakfast is served in your room. Take a hotel map to help tuk tuk/taxi's find the hotel as they often seem to have a problem... but I always got home easily. I THINK it's about $10-15 taxi from airport, and about $3 from MBK. As boats stop early if you're shopping late you need to think about getting back to hotel. Overall I think Boonsiri is a good place to stay and meets all your basic needs really well. and it's quiet!

A rather simple hotel. Not really clean. Dark rooms. Very good location if you look for proximity to Wat Phra Keo and the like. The direct vicinity is rather originally Asian. At least it's rather cheap - but there probably is better value for price in this city.

Excellent choice for stay in Bangkok. Hotel has decent restaurant and helpful staff. Hotel is within walking distance of main attractions (Emerald Buddha, etc.). Location is a good choice from the default Bangkok area of Th. Khaosan. Bags left during the day remain safe in locked area with tags. Staff are also quick to remind guests not to fall for the touts and tuk-tuk drivers who try to scam. Would stay here again!

Very clean. A little noisy, but it's OK. We come back at this hotel every year.

Our taxi driver could not find this hotel, which is not far from KS Road. Once we had orientated ourselves (and a tuk tuk driver found the hotel) it is a convenient location - safe walk to KSR. We got a tuk tuk to other places but this was partly due to having a lack of time to explore slowly. Rooms are simple but clean. The road outside is surprisingly noisy for a back street (all night). Overall, there may be better located hotels but we considered this a good value option.
