Room was just right for my expectations of a 3-star resort with 5-star service and staff friendliness. Its location...walk out the door and I'm on the beach...nice view of the sea! Bar and outstanding restaurant service at the fresh water pool. Hat's off to their chef who visited our table during our evening meals. Second restaurant, Iggie's, near by for casual lunch, dinner, and partying. Iguanas were a great attraction as they roamed the grounds, pool bar and Iggie's begging for food. The resort had everything you needed from inclusive snorkeling turtle/fish excursions on its catamaran to sunset cruises. Off island excursions were planned/announced and easily arranged to other islands to include deep sea fishing. The all inclusive package for meals and drinks is a must. Great food and drinks all day. Lots of Bolongo Resort beach activities _ surf boarding, sea bikes, snorkeling at their beach to include "snorkeling for rum". or just sun-bathing on their beach. Seven days of activities and relaxation from our daily routines back home. Don't think you can beat the resort's price for what they offered. Would do it again...!

Everythnig about this trip was great. The room were older as exspected, but very clean. The staff were alll very nice and the Island was beautiful. The only sugestion I would have is not to use tropic tours for your ride back and for from the hote. They charge $100 and you can get a cab and pay like $12 a person.

Everyone here was friendly and helpful. It is a family-run resort, not a chain, so there was a lot of personal attention. Lobster grille food was great, poolside bar excellent, and Iggy's (casual) restaurant was good and inexpensive. Iggy's had live music every nite. PADI scuba shop on the property with excellent guides. Cabs always at your disposal, and you can go on island excursions directly from the hotel. We had a wonderful vacation here and I can't wait to go back
