Room 201 I occupied had a floor with dated & worn-out tiles. The en-suite was partitioned with plain glass panes with rattan curtains, extractor fan was ineffective & it was from a bygone era & I would be surprised if anybody would wish to lie in the bath - in any case there was no plug. The toilet had a flush button that needed a bit of experimentation to work out how to get a full flush. Breakfast, lunch & dinner were buffet style with a good range of freshly cooked food as well as a good range of cold foods & sweets. Service at breakfast was a 'hit & miss' affair as the staff seemed to be disarray in looking after all the occupied tables - one morning I had to catch the attention of a waiter after a long gaze to get a refill of coffee, and on the next morning I had to serve myself for a refill. However, the staff seemed enthusiastic. The hotel is set at a great location with an expansive palm covered garden with plenty of recliners and a good sized pool, both facing the sea/beach.
