I spent a couple of hours looking for different hotels near Birmingham for myself, my partner and our twin babies. Decided this one looked different from the usual places we stay but wasnt sure about parking arrangements here (as I am disabled I didnt want to have to park miles away) so I called the hotel to query how close I could park. After numerous attempts and no one answering my call I finally got through, the lady was very abrupt in just answering, it was as if I had put her out by calling and she definately gave the impression she had more important things to be doing than answering the phone. Before I queried the parking I explained I am looking to make a booking and would need a travel cot in my room to which she said "we cannot cater for kids, we do not have cots" and then promptly hung up on me. It may just be me, but, I feel that is pretty lousy service. I was on the phone to her for all of 30seconds before she hung up and that was enough time to put me off of ever looking at this hotel again, even if I travel without my twin babies. Absolutely terrible... im off to carry on looking for another one now.
