The staff was excellente and the location is great. However, we booked 2 rooms and they both had an old smell ( like they were full of mold ). We had to keep the windows opened all the time to get rid of the smell and there were 15 degrees C outside.

Could not recomend thishotel highly enough. fantastic location for the main museums and concert hall. Staff were extremely helpful only slight complaint would be the bar service as a couple of evenings when we got back there was nobody serving in the bar. Other than that the rooms were spotless and not that small by Amsterdam standards.

really nice hotel. excellent, quiet location but close to shops and nightlife. Staff friendlyand helpful. didnt get our luxury bathrobes however, but overall a very pleasant stay.

four of us stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed a very comfortable and enjoyable stay here. It's location is right next to the best museums in the City and there are lots of great restaurants nearby. Tram services No 2 and 5 are also very close so getting around was not a problem. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly and a credit to the hotel. The only points to watch out for are the cost of breakfast, which is ludicrous (especially when there are lots of cheaper and good quality alternatives close by) and road noise. It's not on a busy street, but the lack of double glazing means all the noise travels staright to the rooms on the lower floors. However, both of these points will not stop me staying in this hotel again on my next trip to Amsterdam.
