Easy walk thru Vondell Park and the tram. Staff excellent! Bar menu great. Dinner too pricey, as well as breakfast. Always a large Buffett, where we are light breakfast eaters and did not want to spend $21 euros each! Neighborhood had limited, but nice eateries. Hot water for tea and coffee nice. Change of linens, towels, and evening turndown with fresh apples. Travel agent told us this hotel in center of city. Definitely not. But very nice and tram is easy to use. We might have gotten in more night life if closer. Yes, would recommend, however.

Nice alternative next door to more expensive Hilton in quiet residential neighborhood. A bit out of city center, but easy walking/tram to all points of interest and services. Very comfortable room - only comment is no A/C and rooms tend to be hot (we were there in October/November). Pleasant staff. Didn't use restaurant, but looked nice (and on expensive side, but that's Amsterdam).

Overpriced for what it offers. Long way from the centre of the city though quite convenient for museums.
