High expectations based on marketing and past reviews. Got disappointing room in Anex - Tight, making NYC hotels feel roomy, no real ability to have natural light in bedroom with privacy, could hear the people upstairs pacing. Fine gym equipment although lack of attention to detail - no water cups on both mornings. No place to order a drink with a guest at 9:15pm - Was told to get a beer from room fridge and consume by the pool; Breakfast area so poorly appointed and small, I had to move breakfast meeting to another venue at the last minute.

Beautiful, clean hotel, with friendly service. Large, light room, with pools, jacuzzi, a creek and even a koi pond outside. Definitely recommended.

Stayed in a junioe siuite for 4 nights. Very old charecter hotel with I imagine many stories. Theoorms had kitchen facilities. Hotel well out of thje down town area but driveng in L.A is not difficult. Parking very expensive $28.oo per day and car is left on the verge or you can parl acroos the road free. Internet at $15.00 per day also very expnsie. Barring these 2 irems good hotel

The walls are extremely thin and guests can hear everything that happens in adjacent rooms. The jacuzzi is kept at 80 degrees all the time- which makes it a small pool rather than a jacuzzi. The people who work at the hotel is friendly. The daily rate for parking is outrageous.

Great little hotel. Had lovely grounds and staff were friendly. When we had a problem with our first room, they were happy to move us promptly! The walls of the hotel were quite thin but overall it was a lovely stay! Worth what you paid for in a safe neighbourhood!

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Got upgraded due to noise from adjoining room (happy with that)great pool area. Bus stop at the front door so it made it easy to get around. Hotel arranged a car to take us back to the airport at a very reasonable price. Would stay here again.

Even though it is quite a maze getting from the lobby to your room with your baggage. Everything else was great once we were settled in. We would stay here again!

This hotel was great. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were a great size. It is definitely an older hotel though and getting to your room can be tricky (I went up one floor then had about 5 sets of "mini" stairs) so if you have a lot of luggage you should get some help!
