Best Western Twin Islands Gatlinburg Guest Reviews

5 out of 5

Very comfortable rooms, well stocked linens, coffee, towels. Beds clean and comfortable. Rooms could use a face lift but overall would go back again.

We have stayed at this facility many times so we enjoy going back each year to recall all of the good times. But time has a way of taking its toll on buildings and such and this facility is getting a little tired.

The hotel was convenient to Gatlinburg, especially No Way Jose's, the Mountain Mall and Ripley's Aquarium. The rooms were very small and the queen size beds seemed full-size instead of queen. The room was old in general, with a small, old television. We couldn't even plug out daughters portable DVD player into the TV (no jacks). The doors were extremely hard to close and open, causing people to keep banging them open and closed throughout the night. The view on the back balcony was very nice, right on the water where we saw otters. The breakfast was tasty, but very limited. Several of us had to stand since the breakfast room was way too small for the size of hotel. Maintenance was needed, my own fault, and they were very prompt and very professional. I could not get the wi-fi to work properly, probably due to our distance from the office. The linens seemed clean. Overall, it was very small and kind of old, but had a nice location. For the price paid, I can't classify it as a good deal.
