What a welcome surprise. A quiet tropical garden. This was the 5th place we rented over our drive from Port Douglas to Brisbane and it was the best value. It was like walking into grammas house, everything in place and clean and fresh. The breakfast next morning served in the room was hot, fresh and just like home. The location was great as we wanted to drive the scenic route past Yeppoon the next day.

We stayed in studio motel. TV on high stand above bed - hard to see without suffering stiff neck. Plus Air Con very noisy. Location excellent, no traffic noise. Staff very helpful. Would stay again in future but next time in a Deluxe Motel Room.

Although we booked the room for 2pm it wasn't available until 4.30pm. This was an inconvenience. Inconsistent approach to customer service by front desk staff. Depends who you get on the day as to whether you require a credit card or have to put down a key deposit. Room was really good but the stench of bleach was a bit overwhelming. Very good for the price. Location is great.

I stayed in a studio room which was so small that I walked into the bed on entering. The facilities were run down, the restaurant closed at 8.30pm (just as my plane arrived so that I did not get any dinner that night). I will not stay there again.

It would have been nice if there had been some Water , in the fridge, also , there was no ice-cubes. The Vanity tap also dripped constantly.Other than that, I was happy with my stay at this resort.
