Well let me start on a positive - great location Hotel is older style with very well presented reception stair well and bar/restuant area. Unfortunately that is where it stops - first night no gas in the kitchen meal took over 2 hours, second night no water. Staff were polite. Reminds me of Caves House at Jenolan Caves - great place to vist just don't stay there.

Not an extremely bad room however breakfast cost around £13.25 extra and waiters are not really interested in taking orders at all. Staff are not very friendly either seems only interested in making some extra money. Also for some reasons, there was a bad smell from the bath room. I would not be staying this hotel again. I strongly recommend others to find another hotel.

It was a lovely old stately hotel of the Victorian era. Although old everything in our room was in excellent working order and the room was large and comfortable. We asked to be moved to a room with a view of the sea and this was not a problem for reception. She was very helpful. The only negative is parking is very limited and so if you have a lot of luggage it could be difficult moving into hotel.
