Best Western Riviera Hotel Rome Guest Reviews (13)
The Hotel is what you would expect from a Best Western -- neat, clean, continental breakfast. However, it was a surprise to us that we had to pay 6 Euro to get picked up from the airport, and 6 more to go back. We had planned to go into Rome for the evening, but the cost of going back and forth to the airport and then taking the train was just too much. If you have an overnight layover, probably best to just stay somewhere in the city.

This Hotel is small as are the rooms, but this is to be expected in Europe. We chose this hotel due to its closeness to the airport for an early flight the next day but was pleasantly surprised when we found it was only 100 mtrs to the waterfront and clean beaches with beach bungalows which sell food, wine and draft beer. Went for a swim and a cold beer later returning for a beautiful sunset dinner watching the sun set over the sea-very romantic. The hotel offered a shuttle service at 6 Euros pp compared to the taxi ride at over double that. Staff friendly, small dining area and bar but sufficient. We travelled from Naples to Rome on Eurorail express train 300 kph then took a train from Termi Central to the airport and a taxi to the hotel. This is a long way from Rome Central and would return there again and recommend for someone looking for a hotel close to the airport.

This would have had to have been one of the best hotels that we have stayed in during our 6 weeks in Europe the people, cleanliness and service was really good and location for Rome was good. G.Natoli 22/10/09

Very expensive. Not value for money. Staff were very unfriendly. This is the furthest hotel from the airport. The shuttle service is not free! You would be better off spending a little extra and staying somewhere closer to the airport. They don't even have bread in the morning for breakfast. Very poor service.

It is not publicized well that Riviera provides the shuttle bus service from Rome international airport to the hotel every 45 minutes in the daytime at 6 Euro each way. The pick-up site in the airport is confusing. It is in the bus shuttle area across to the airport C terminal international arrival. The taxi in the late evening or early morning may charge you 25 Euro each way.
