Best Western Pythagorion Hotel Athens Guest Reviews
This no-frills hotel is a great bang for your money! I stayed on the top floor so there was little issue with street noise. Hot water and AC work. The room has a safe, there's cable TV for what it's worth, and the hotel is just a couple blocks from the subway and lots to see and do in the immediate area. I would stay here again if I choose to return to Athens.

The bedroom is clean but 'sad' and minimal. The breakfast is below minimum standards, and the area is full of heroin traffic and consumption (you leave the hotel and first thing you see is a junkie having his shoot), pickpockets (I almost got stolen), etc. The price is very close to the ones you can get in the (very nice) centre of Athens: avoid this place!

I was very pleased with the accommodations and staff at the Pythagorion Hotel. Travelers with laptops should bring a short ethernet cable to use the in-room Internet.
