This is a nice hotel. Clean, with very good and friendly staff. I have no complaints about the hotel itself. However, when I searched Orbitz, I used the search criteria of: Airport Shuttle, Lounge, Restaurant. Best Western Pony Soldier Inn came up with this criteria so I booked it. There is an airport shuttle but....there is NO restaurant or lounge on the premises. The nearest restaurant is Elmers next door or 1 steak house that I could walk to down the street. Being a single woman I did not feel comfortable walking at night along the busy street that this hotel is located on, so my choice was only Elmers. This hotel does offer a morning breakfast, nothing fancy but adaquate. Orbitz should change it's search criteria on this one.

Great for what it is. Nice to have shuttle service to the airport (PDX) and breakfast was actually pretty darn nice. Staff was very nice/considerate and helpful in arranging for shuttle.

Convenient location to/for airport (PDX), not too close, not too far. Nice and friendly staff, good value, breakfast was a plus. Not a Four Seasons of course, it is what it is and it was convenient and a good value.

Convenient location to airport (PDX), nice staff, clean room and the breakfast was a nice surprise. It is what it is, not a Four Seasons but probably one of the nicer Best Westerns you'll find.
