Best Western Plus Tuscan Inn At Fisherman's Wharf
5 out of 5

This is the second hotel I have stayed at near Fisherman's Wharf. I liked this one better due to easy access in and out of the valet parking. I like being within walking distance to the wharf, shopping and a fantastic choice of seafood eateries! The room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was a bit creaky sounding but very comfy to sleep in after walking all day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

Our view out of the window was an orange wall of the next building. The double room we had was relatively small and the double beds were just wide enough to accommodate two persons lying still. There were little amenities thus making the tariff relatively costly.

Was there for an annual holiday shopping weekend with my daughters. Its close to the Wharf, Chinatown & North Beach. Easy access to bus, taxis for other places to explore. The staff was very attentive & friendly. Will definately stay there again...

Not much time was spent in the room because we were mostly out sight seeing and being tourists. The hotel staff was very pleasant. The only complaint I have (which really isn't a complaint seeing as we were hardly there) is that the room was extremely small and there was just two of us. The windows also face the street and it can get pretty noisy at times so if you are a lite sleeper I wouldn't recommend staying there. Other then that everything was just fine. If we needed to stay there again we would.

There is nothing Tuscan about this place. Overpriced for the room, let alone the ADDITIONAL $40 per night for parking. This place is a dive. Our room must have been originally a 40's/50's era design. Black and white, with a mirror the whole length of the room. Bed sucked. Bedding sucked. TV reception sucked. Wi-Fi signal sucked. Bathroom sucked. Food sucked (fingerprints in the butter). Food pricing sucked. The only thing that made this place tolerable was the 2 bottles of wine that we brought with us and started pounding after getting the room. The wine helped make the room disappear. One word - terrible. There is ABSOLUTELY NO HINT OF ANY TUSCAN IN THE JOINT (except for the lobby). Felt like this room should have been rented by the hour. We didn't even want to take a shower in the bathroom. There are too many other places in the area that are nicer. Facilities like this should not be able to remain open. I'd wager they don't get much repeat guests...

Rooms are small but who cares. Parking in the area is pricey so don't rent a car unless you plan on going up to wine country. Free wine tasting in the lobby every night by the fireplace. (Cool) Great dinning at hotel and within walking distance. Trader Joe's just around the corner. Couldn't have asked for more. Planned our whole trip with you guy's (plane, car and hotel. Not a glitch anywhere. Or as Arnold would say, I'll be back. P.S. Hollywood Cafe, superb breakfast. John G

Wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff. The young lady serving as Concierge was fantastic. Cafe Pescatore next door was very good. Free internet is also appreciated. Only downside, a courtyard room had been reserved for us, but wasn't ready when we came back from our exploring at about 6 pm. So, we agreed to a different room. This was on the outside of the property, along Mason, I believe. With two bus stops in close proximity and garbage trucks coming at least two of the days (at 5:30 am!), it was pretty noisy from outside traffic. So, I should have held out for the courtyard room, but it should have been ready by 6 pm. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay very much.

This hotel is simply lovely. They have a wine reception every evening from 5-6. The decor is very nice and it's clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and we had a wonderful time!

Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Room (2 double beds)was clean, updated, and quiet (facing courtyard). Terrific location...in walking distance of so many attractions. Free, easily accessible computer/printer to print return boarding passes...a plus. Wine hour...nice idea to start evening, but poor tasting offering (and we're no experts). Onsite restaurant...nice menu but lots of alternatives available
