Location
In a stunning location, right across the street from the gorgeous English Bay, all guests should make time to take a walk down by the water. The famous Stanley Park is also just a stone's throw away.

Checker's Bar and Grill serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and was voted the West End's #1 Sports Bar. There are many television screens and interactive games to keep you entertained. The hotel is located in English Bay, just 3 minutes from the beach. We stayed 4 days there and were happy with what we got. You can walk to Stanly Park or just stroll along the beach. As far as restaurants go, Denman St is just around the corner, a haven for eating places. Frontdesk staff were polite and helpful. I would stay there again.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, everything works well - all facilities and the service. Very well located in relation to CBD, parks and beaches. Hard to fault.

This hotel is located in one of the most sought after places known as West End in Vancouver. It is just a stone throw away from the famous beach where hundreds of people gather during weekends or holidays. During my 8 days stay on the second visit, my impression on the friendliness of the staff remained unchanged, most of them are really helpful and friendly in accommodating our requests, and providing correct information on our travel plans and inquiries. We will surely be glad to stay in this hotel again in the future.

Nice clean accommodation with plenty of room amenities. Updated bathroom excellent. Could be noisy on street side. Better on other side. Close to transport, beach and restaurants. Bit pricey, but that's Vancouver??
