I gave it 3 stars because that is the "Average, Ordinary" rating. This hotel was just your typical basic hotel which was perfect for my needs. I stayed here for 2 weeks while on business. I was told that it was a sketchy part of town but I didn't have any problems or any reason to feel that way. It was close to a few restaurants so it was easy to get food after work. Breakfast was served every morning. I mostly just ate the cereal and biscuits and gravy which were plenty good for my needs. Staff was helpful and always nice. My room was clean and comfortable.

The poeople working for this hotel couldn't have been better. The only real complaint I have is the fact that their vending machines didn't work when we were there, and as we got in late (too late to order even pizza locally) we were starving!!! Wish they were in walking distance of a 7-11 or something. Other than that, I'd stay there again, just stop at a 7-11 to be prepared.

We were placed in a smoking-room even though we did not choose during online reservation.

Great facility and service. It's not in a neighborhood that I'd go walking around in. They do provide shuttle service to the airport and BART. I would be very glad to stay there again.
