We lost power from the 11/30 wind storm and the staff was very accomodating & nice in checking us in early even though their own system was down they went out of their way to get us checked in early because I told them we'd been without power for 24hrs and needed a place asap since i was 8 mos pregnant with a toddler

We needed to be close to the Rose Bowl to sell at the Flea Market. The price, quality, quiet, cleanliness, and readiness of the room was terrific - and so was the location.

Perfect! On the money. Lovely view of the mountains from our lobby. The only negative I can probably come up with is the location since its quite far from downtown. But, theres always the train n bus services for disposal right outside! Takes about half n hr to the Union station.

The person at the front desk when I arrived at 6:30pm wasn't that friendly nor curtious. Questions were answered with short answers almost impatient. A half an hour later, someone tried to come into the room and opened the door without knocking that I thought the door was locked. Luckily I put the extra bar above the lock acrossed the door, so when this person opened the door, he couldn't come in because the door was caught by the bar. When I reported to the front desk that the door lock was defective, the front desk person said that it was him who tried to come in for an unclear reason to me. He said he would check on the door lock, but he never came. Other than these not quite pleasing incidents, the room was very nice, the bed and pillows were great. The person at the front desk the next morning was very friendly. Free breakfast wasn't bad. I don't mind to stay there again. PS: It turned out the door needed to be pushed in harder for the lock to work properly.
