Best Western Marks Tey Hotel Colchester Guest Reviews
They say it's the only 4 star hotel in Colchester; we were completely satisfied with all aspects of the hotel - superb value for the price. We shall certainly stay there next time we're in the area. Well done [your website].

Everything about the Marks Tey deserves full marks but the restaurant manageress deserves praise above all. Despite being late diners both nights she never made us feel rushed, hurried and gave her full attention to all our needs. The staff throughout were all excellant even though they had weddings as well as people staying. If this hotel is an example of Patten hotels i will look for them everywhere i stay in the future.

As a business traveller I was very impressed with this hotel and would certainly use it again.

Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Food was ok but restaurant felt more like a school canteen than a 4 star hotel. Bare tables, clattery acoustic, bright lights, noisy air con which blew icily down my neck. Not the place for a romantic rendez vous or any sort of relaxing atomosphere.

Though billed as a Spa hotel the sauna and steam room facilities are very small. Still, a good place for a weekend break- nice location close to historic town, decent breakfast.
