Would recommend to families as everything is provided including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer which is a must for the parents.

It was well situated, with a tavern across the road which served great meals, a shopping centre and IGA located across the road, bus stops at the front, and a pick up point for island boat cruises.

We hadn't expected Mango House resort to be quite so far out from the centre, but the walk into Airlie Beach only took 20minutes. We arrived 2hrs earlier than check-in, and asked if we could park the car before walking into town. We were surprised to find the room ready and the receptionist very pleasant and keen to show us around, despite a fully booked Resort. The apartment on the second floor was lovely, louvres all round as an alternative to the air-conditioning, and a good sized balcony where we ate at night. Cooking facilities were excellent, and we were surprised to find a washing machine and dryer in a cupboard off the bedroom. The bedroom was compact, but very clean and comfortable. We chose to shop for groceries and liquor at the shops just across the road, but have heard that the nearby tavern is well recommended. We will certainly stay there again, as we found the staff pleasant, the apartment comfortable, and the surroundings attractive.

very new and clean. fully contained, convience shop and bottle shop next door. Close to airlie beach, next to bus that runs regularly to the main strip. Owners had lots of brochures for activities in airlie beach. an enjoyable hotel

rooms facing highway are subject to considerable traffic noise. Otherwise pleasant.
