We had a most quiet, comfortable stay in this hotel, which backs on to the magnificent 118 acre Northampton public park called the Racecourse. Room with en suite was average size and impeccably clean with tea/coffee making facilities. We had self-service continental breakfast which was varied and copious Full breakfast available.This hotel is a set of houses in an old Georgian terrace, which make the landings and passages a little up and down: one or two steps every turn with many smoke doors

I was relieved to see the hotel is a Best Western. I have stay in many of these before so know they are of a good quality. The room was pleasant and very adequate for my needs as I only I was staying. Parking is limited so make sure you get there early. You can park on the road at the front of the hotel but this turns into a bus lane with no parking after 08:00. If you are planning to leave before this time then is won't make any difference. The hotel is very handy for the town centre. It is aprox 1 mile away straight down the road. If you don't mind a little walk it's no problem but the bus service goes past the hotel. I would stop here again if ever I needed to be in the area. The rooms were quiet, as were the rest of the guests.
