The location at this hotel was ideal for downtown Chicago and the price wasn't bad either. We were central to everything in the city, my only complaint was that there was a bit of black mold in the shower ceiling, nothing substantial but it should definitely be looked at. The staff was friendly and made a solid effort to accommodate us.

The location was perfect!! The staff was extremely accommodating. Noise level in the hall woke us up both mornings we stayed. Upgrades to the bathrooms would be nice. Continental breakfast would be nice. Or even just some free coffee and fruit for those in an early morning rush.

the accomodations here were adequate. It was not too far from bus lines (but that's a different story), but there was no shuttle fr om the airport at 8pm, and the cab ride was $45. However, once there, they were quick to respond to needs. There was no continental breakfast served, but there was a restaurant that served good food, though not cheap, next to it, and there was a coffee pot in the room. Overall, an average, but no better, stay.

Small tiny gym not really good for any kind of serious workout if that's what you're looking for. Pool was closed for season when I got there so can't tell on that. The biggest issue was the ANNOYINGLY SLOW INTERNET. It was free but terribly terribly slow and would go in and out. Also, no continental breakfast if that's what you are expecting. Otherwise, room was fine and clean. Pretty normal.

Had a very pleasant stay here. I was traveling alone to a conference and felt very welcome and safe. Easy walk to the Roosevelt Metro Stop. Good basic room--very clean, but nothing fancy or special. The building had thin walls and windows. It was easy to hear noise from other rooms and outside. Bring earplugs.

the first staff member was very abrupt when informing me that I had to take a smoking room when I had reserved NON smoking. then another staff member named Tiara stepped in and said that she would look to see what she could do. She came back a few minutes later, she upgraded us to a better room with complimentry breakfast for the inconvienince. Tiara was lovely and put smiley face notes in our room! I don't know the name of the other girl but I found her unsympathetic and appeared to be reading from a script. She seemed to not care "that's what's available, too bad." All other staff members were wonderful... the cafe nice and even the bell hop/ doorman, taxi service was more than adequate.

It took me a couple of days to realize my heater was not working. When I called, the staff was on it in about 15 minutes, and had the heater fixed in under half an hour. Very pleased with the courtesy of the staff, very good sense of humor, and they did a great job of taking care of things in a quick and efficient manner.

Very disappointed in the disrepair of the hotel. The pool was empty and closed and it looked like it has been that way for some time. My door stuck and I had to slam it just to close it. All in all a pretty crummy place.
