Best Western Garden Hotel Chongqing Guest Reviews
This is a good hotel. Th air-conditioning didn't work but I find it doesn't work in many hotels. The location is a 10-15 Yuan ride into the city. What impressed me was the service provided by the business manager. I had to do some trip planning and they assisted me for over an hour and a half and even got me a discount on my airfare. Their lobby service was excellent too. A very friendly hotel.

At one time, this hotel may have been a charming place to spend a few days in Chongqing. Today, the decor is dated and very tired throughout, guests are greeted with a musty smell and the service is very slow. The rooms are relatively clean and of a good size and the breakfast buffet would offer a reasonable variety if staff ensured that food items are replenished as they run out. The location is a little outside the city centre but there are a number of eateries and convenience stores nearby.

Good value but English is limited. Chongqing isn't an easy place to navigate, and English isn't spoken except the Hilton Hotel. Only stay here if you need to go to Chongqing on Business.

staff really try to please and add to their English. Located right in the centre of a small business district with Supermarket, Tailors, Bakery and a typical market around the corner, abundance of transport which is very cheap. Will return next year.
