My experience with this property is terrible. The people behind the show are not fit to be in hospitality business. My fully paid booking for three nights could not be located. My experience - 1. The front counter lady after keeping me waiting for 45 minutes gave me a room-key and asked us to wait for 20 minutes for the room get ready. After 1 hours wait in the lobby at 3.15 pm when I asked about the status, I was advised that check out time is AFTER 3 pm. I witnessed several guests checked in while I was dumped in the waiting area. That is disgusting, damaging and discriminatory. 2. The shuttle service was to be available from the hotel to the nearest Subway station. We were told that this can only be availed for one to and fro. That's a misleading claim. 3. I originally requested for a late check out which was neither acknowledged nor accepted. 4. On record, this property is close to NY city. But the location is not good at all. No proper eating place around. I am quite surprised how such property can get affiliated to "Best Western".

Hotel is old and in need of a spruce up on the outside. Rooms have been renovated and claim to be non-smoking, however, smokers sit outside hotel entrance and smoke permeates the hotel.

This hotel was fine for the price we paid for it. Breakfast was average with choice of bagels, cereal, fruit and doughnuts. Room was comfortable and cleaned every morning and a good sized room, however bathroom was quite small. There is a free shuttle that can be used once a day to get to the local subway station, however we never used it as it was a short distance walk. Staff in hotel was average. There is a graveyard just across the road from the hotel, however it didn't bother us. It is only a 10-15 minute subway ride into times square.

I'm pretty open to cheap hotels and this place fits the bill. I got what I paid for with a few weird things on the side. I had booked a double online and when I got there they asked if I would be fine with a king. They touted how nice and quiet it is on the 5th floor. BEWARE the 5th floor. The room had no windows and the air conditioner was a portable unit with flexible dryer ducting to the exterior that couldn't get the room below 76, plywood countertops, and was generally a total dump. I asked to be moved back to the double I originally had and they did so. The new room on the 3rd floor was a typical cheap hotel, but had a functional A/C, clean sheets, generally clean bathroom, TV, microwave, old carpet, and a desk. The whole place smells like smoke, so don't even bother trying to avoid it. Apparently the owner isn't good about paying their DirectTV bill because every 30mins a warning would pop up on the TV telling me to pay the DirectTV bill or risk losing service. This was particularly annoying since it filled the screen and prevented me from watching TV. I never made it down for breakfast or used the shuttle service, so I can't speak to those. My stay was capped off by a strange deal where they parked their hotel minivan across the exit end of the one-way driveway. When I asked if they could move the van so I could leave, they looked at me like I was stupid. I guess they expected us to turn around and go out the wrong way, but they moved the van. As soon as we pulled through, they parked it right back where it was blocking the driveway. Weird. Overall, it qualifies as a cheap place to stay if that's what you are looking for.

We were there to visit the city after bowling in Syracuse. The hotel staff was very nice to 2 girls from TX, lol. The only thing I really missed was a swimming pool, but there is no room to put it there, unless they can get it on a roof, lol.

This is the best New York Hotel I have stayed in. It was not expensive, the rooms were large and clean and the staff were great. It's on Long Island but the hotel has a shuttle to the subway and it's easy. Loved it.

Great for the price. Located about a 10-15 min walk from a subway station that takes you till Times Square/Port Authority in 15-20 minutes. Free shuttle bus to LaGuardia airport and the subway station. Sometimes we waited a little long for the shuttle. Staff was friendly, although some seemed a little tired of their job. The breakfast was pretty good. All in all, a really good option for the price.

Absolutely fantastic. Great friendly staff and very accomodating. Shuttle drivers excellent. Rooms are super spacious, clean linen and nice size bathroom. The breakfast is very good, varied, fresh, and sumptuous. Would not trade it for a Manhattan location. I am coming back to this hotel and will highly recommend to all. Do I have anything bad to say? It is accross the Catholic Calvary Cemetary which is a museum of beautiful monuments and a very famous cemetary (filmed Godfather there). Cross the street and see this place...impressive....not even being accross a cemetary is negative. All ++++++++++++

Given it was Easter weekend and we had left booking until the last minute, this place was a bargain compared to most things out there (a little expensive I thought but being New York it was quite reasonably priced). Pretty good location as could get into Time Square within half an hour, even with the 15 min walk to the nearest subway stop. They had a 24 hour shuttle that would drop you (and pick you up) to the station too which worked great (although we never used it to get back as you had to ring and we'd read elsewhere that you could wait a while so we decided not to risk it and just walk!). Breakfast was pretty decent (scrambled eggs, sausages, bagels, toast, waffles, cereal, fruit, doughnuts, tea, coffee, juice). Internet was dead slow but hard to complain when it's free but in this day and age it's pretty bad, I think a 56k modem would have been 5 times faster than this place! Staff pretty good although one of the ladies on the front desk was a bit hard to talk to at times.

Everything is just fine. However, the transportation from this hotel is terrible! I often wait 20~30 mins for the shuttle of the hotel.
