All round a good hotel, although triple room was rather cosy. Breakfast was good, location is good for walking through the back streets to major sights, not as close as many of the tourist hotels but we had a view over the Marmara and from the sunny breakfast room and restaurant.

In all cases I would say excelent rather than very good for a 3* rated hotel. One down side is the hotel does not have a lift so if stairs are an issue ask for a ground floor room. Book with confidence and enjoy the location and super hospitality of the Citadel.

The rooms are small, location is good walking distance to old town and blue mosque.

The hotel was in a fantastic position at Sultanahamet within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Hagia Sophia.....fantastic!!! Had a great view of the Marmara Sea from our bedroom window. Rooms were small but quiet, considering they faced a very busy street. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. A fantastic stay!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone.
