Best Western Capital Beltway Hotel Lanham Guest Reviews
The Best Western was OK. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a bit tight...but I was alone so it did not cause any problems for me. It was close to rt50, 495 and 95 and I was within a couple of minutes of the New Carllonton metro station..which was very important. I was not thrilled that complimentary breakfast started at 6:30. So I used the coffee maker in my room and the frig . Staff was good but I did not have any problems so did not asked them for anything out of the ordinary.

I stayed at the BW for four days. The staff was cool except for this one chick, who worked third shift she was not very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was cool. I did see a roach on the counter. There was a nightclub in the hotel. I had fun there. Overall great hotel.

This hotel is absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The hallway smells, the carpets are badly stained, the walls have cracks, and bathroom had a leak from upstairs room and wall paper in the room was pealing off. The free breakfast consisted of dried tasteless eggs, cold oatmeal, bread, cheap dried waffles and cereal. Don’t set your sites on variety because there are none. You get the same nasty food every single morning. There were guests across the hall that let their children run the hallway at all hours of the night. The kids kept banging on doors then ran away. When we complained to front desk they told us there was nothing they could do about it. They wouldn't even change our room because supposedly they were full. We were supposed to be there for 5 days, but my husband and I checked out 3 days early. We just couldn’t take it anymore. And you wouldn’t believe it, but the hotel manager told us we would get reimbursed the remaining nights we would not be there, but that never happened. So we ended up paying twice since we had to check in somewhere else in the middle of the night just to get some sleep.

The free shuttle service provided by the hotel is great but the breakfast of the hotel could have more varieties of food.

enjoyed our stay will come back when we get tickets to the next skins game or just a vist to Washington for some site seeing. Would recommend to friends and family. Use Orbits to book a great deal though. Gary and Bobby
