Best Western Atrea Hotel & Suites San Antonio Guest Reviews
The hotel is very modern and has what you need, nice rooms, good bed, good breakfest too. But getting to the hotel was a bit of a trip. Not well marked when you come off the 410 loop and the exit in relation to the road that leads you to the hotel, well lets say, if you don't get over quick enough, you have to travel to the next light and come around for another pass. Area is quiet, but you need to drive a small distance if you want to get to any better than McDonald's to eat something. Also their policy for "Green" environment, leave you with two drying towels so if you are like most husbands traveling with their spouse, the wife always needs two (hair and body), so had to ask every night for an extra towel. Overall not bad, but know where you are going, if not... long trip around.

The staff was very helpful with directions to nearby attractions. The pool was clean and nice, but small. The room was very clean and comfortable. Directions to the hotel could have been more straight forward. The breakfast was hot and fresh and available earlier than the stated time which was nice as we were on an early morning schedule. Overall a very pleasant stay.

As always there is a "But" in a story so lets get it out of the way first. The hotel is kinda tricky to get to if your not familiar with San Antonio area."But" once you get there it is GREAT!! The staff was attentive and responsive to my needs. The rooms were well apointed, clean and comfortable. I travel many times throught the year and stay in many different chains and non chains on business. I must say, I was very impressed that this was a Best Westeren. I couldn't belive it. If I had to grade the room I would have put it in a room grade of a better Las Vegas Strip hotel and I'm not kidding.
