"Clean hotel with lovely pool, though they could do with a shade over the pool to keep it cool, it was a bit like a warm bath. The hotel was a bit far out of town, but the cheaper price reflects that and I had a hire car, so it only took around 15 minutes to the centre of Cairns. The one annoying thing in the room I stayed in was the air conditioner must have been pretty old because it kept making a clunking sound and was pretty noisy - lucky I had ear plugs!"
