We were planning on arriving at the hotel early in the morning (around 4am), so I called to make sure that we would be able to check in at that time. The receptionist assured me that we would. Once we arrived there, no one was in sight at the front desk and the sign said closed until 8am. We sat in the parking lot wondering what to do when a police officer showed up and informed us that crack is often dealt out of this hotel and he encouraged us to go somewhere else. I don't have high standards, but come on. Wasted $80 because a refund was denied and had to check in at another hotel at 7am.
