Location
This property enjoys an excellent location in the centre of Grindelwald and is only a kilometre from the train station. All mountain railways, ski elevators and moving ways are attainable in shortest time.
Rooms
All guestrooms are modern and comfortably furnished. Some of these rooms also have balconies and grandiose views over the world-renowned north face of the Eiger.
Restaurant
Breakfast buffet with regional specialities will give you the necessary energy for the day. The bar is an ideal place to chill out with your friends while enjoying your drink. You can also sip your favourite tea, coffee and wine at the tea bar.
General
The lobby has a rustic style with wooden furnishings and is an ideal place to meet you friends. Guests using their own modes of transportation are provided with ample parking space on-site for their convenience.

Bernerhof Hotel Grindelwald Guest Reviews
We stayed at the Bernerhof Hotel Grindelwald for 7 nights over Christmas 2009. The room was tiny. Hardly any room for our bags. We had to put a side table in the cupboard to make room for our baggage. We were pretty disappointed in the room. It was also quite noisy. The hallway was floorboards which made it echo a lot when people were talking in the hallway. The TV in the room was really small. We found the staff a bit hit and miss. Some days they were really friendly and would answers questions and recommend things, other days they would just ignore you or not be all that helpful. Plenty to choose from for breakfast. Great view if you are facing the mountain and if you're not there is a lounge area where you can sit and drink the free coffee or water and enjoy the view. Next time we would stay somewhere else.

I enjoyed the stay very much. I had a single room, which was a bit small by US standards, but it was very clean, the people were very nice, and the breakfast was great. I did get a peek into the double rooms which seemed much larger and also seemed to have a great view. I would definitely reccommend this hotel.
