Good location, too noisy at night, difficult to sleep at night. (because it is in the middle of the nightclubs and bars) Deserves not 4 stars, only 2 stars.

Do not stay at this hotel if you want to sleep between midnight and 6.00am as it is surrounded by night clubs that just keep getting louder and louder if you are a youngster and want to go out clubing all night and I mean all night, or you are as deaf as a post, it will suit you fine as it is cheap&clean. but the rooms are very small and I personally did not get a wink of sleep after 11.45pm, thank god i only booked one night.

Right beside the main party area of St Julians Hotel Bernard is perfect if you are up for some fun, not so perfect if you want a quiet night's sleep! Pack your earplugs and enjoy the beautiful islands of Malta!

If you want night life then this is for you. In the middle of all the action. If you want peace and quiet. The double glazing and double balcony doors will not keep out the live music all night thru till 6am. The hotel needs renovating and is getting a bit tired.
