Pros: Nice staff, great location, very clean and the afternoon wine and cheese was a nice addition. Cons: Older building, thin walls, radiator noises.

Loved the hotel and would definitely stay at the Beresford again. Great location - 2 1/2 blocks from Union Square - close to the metro bus lines and cable car routes and china town. The continental breakfast had nice fresh fruit, muffins,pastries, etc. The staff was very helpful, kind, and accommodating. Great historic feel. We had a great time.

This is a great little hotel. Spacious room with kitchennette and huge bathroom. Wine and cheese tasting in the afternoon just great if you are around. All staff were very friendly and helpful, espically the conciearge who brought our bags in on our arrival he was fantastic and nothing was a problem! Great stop only block to union square and it a good part of town. For the prices I wouldn’t go past this hotel!!! Some rooms are under the street level, if you would like to look out maybe request a higher floor.
