Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club Fort William Guest Reviews
Used by lots of coach tour companies.

We were put in this awful part of the hotel right at the back, there was cobwebs and we found 3 spiders right after we got in the room. The curtains didn't shut properly and the shower was rubbish. The other rooms were probably better. Staff at breakfast not very efficient we had to ask for coffee and toast after sitting for nearly 15 mins, my husband asked for a fried egg with his breakfast - still waiting! On the plus side the health club is fantastic. Location isn't great it's about a 20-25 min walk into town - there is a bus service but not great, you really need a car.

Leisure Club facilities were excellent. Breakfast was good. Room could have been nicer. Bathroom and wardrobe facilities below standard. Radiator in room did not seem to work - always cold regardless of setting.

I read previous reviews having already booked - and arrived with some trepidation. Those reviews, I have to say, are HARSH. Our (spacious) bathroom was the size I half-expected our twin bedroom to be, judging by previous reviews. So what if the (bathroom) decor is not 21st-century urban and slick? It's clean and you have space to move. The staff are great. I'm not a fan of full breakfasts - but here they are incredibly tasty. And yes, the leisure centre is not to be missed. I'll be back. Definitely.
