Fantastic location, fantastic view, extensive well kept grounds, staff very accomodating, game room, breakfast very good, evening meal average, but discount voucher was offered. Would go again, but eat out at night. Its the best hotel in Bowness and probably the best hotel over looking lake windermere. One word fantastic!

THE HOTEL IS SET IN BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS WITH THE MOST FABULOUS VIEWS OF THE LAKE. THE STAFF WERE HELPFUL, AND THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND TRADITIONAL. THE HOTEL IS LITERALLY A 2 MINUTE WALK TO BOWNESS TOWN CENTRE, WITH LOVELY RESTAURANTS AND BARS. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE RETURNING IN THE FUTURE!
