Cheap all inclusive. On the beach, decent food, no name alcohol but it works

My wife and I stayed here in January 2011, and we enjoyed being so close to the prime ocean. The sight lines down the coast were amazing. The room was comfortable, and there were enough activities during the day that I didn't feel bored. Trivia, Bingo, volleyball, etc. It looked like para-sailing was within easy access as well. A few small gripes were: Lack of a hot tub. There was a small set of two pools together, and they had jets but no hot water. My wife is a picky eater and she did have some gripes about the food, but there is enough of a variety--a different ethnic theme every night and an Italian alternative every night except Friday--that you can find something you like there without much trouble after a little experimentation.

We were only able to get away for 4 days but this was the perfect location. It was absolutely beautiful! Staff was very nice, lots of fun activities. The cost of the package was a GREAT buy - thank you! We would for sure come here again.

Me and my wife recently went here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located right on the beach along the kukulcan in cancun. It is a little south of the main dining and shopping area but there are buses that run by every 2 minutes and you can catch them right out in front of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and really go out of there way for you. The hotel is a little older and the room shows it, however the view from the room was amazing. Definitely worth the money, and we plan on coming back here. Oh and the food was amazing, Buffet has different theme everyday and it all was really good.. Especially spanish night The negatives: The water in the faucet smelled really bad but im not sure if thats just mexico or the pipes were bad. A few ants in the bathroom The positives: Price, location, beach, food, drinks, pool, STAFF!!!

The staff was helpful and friendly and most of them accommodated my lack of Spanish very well. The room was clean, and I even got a free "upgrade" from a double-bed room to a mini-suite, although I would have liked to have a deck to relax on rather than the lagoon (sunset) view and might have turned down the upgrade if I had seen the rooms in advance. The buffets and restaurants were full of delicious food and nearly every dining experience was wonderful. My only serious complaint about the location of this hotel is this: for some reason the beach outside this hotel was very rough and windy, with a very strong undertow. I don't know if it was the time of year (late December) or if this was normal, but walking south towards the Club Med or north towards the Bel Air, I found that the beaches there were calmer and I was able to swim or wade without fear. Other than not being able to swim in the ocean as much as I'd prefer, this was a very pleasant resort stay in one of my favorite tropical cities.

The atmosphere was very welcoming, organized and efficient. We felt a level of comfort from the start. The hotel had everything to offer in the line of food, shopping, entertainment, simming and spa treatment. They also catered for a little formal dressing in one of the restaurant that offered an air of ambiance. The staff was very knowledgeable in helping with the monetary exchange rate directions of how to find our way travelling on the island. Excellent! highly recommended and would come again. Thank you!!!

During the year the Hotetur changed ownership and became the Belview Paradise. I'm sorry to say that the policies concerning guests are not as friendly as before. For example, internet access was free before and it now costs $15 / day. USD to Peso exchange rates are not as competitive as before. The people are as great as ever. While I've stayed at this place several times, I think next year I'll look around before booking the Belview.

The food was definitely great! The staff was very kind and friendly. The hotel does need some upgrades. New shower heads etc... But overall for the amt of money paid is was fair. The money we saved on the hotel allowed us to do tours and buy souvenirs. The location was great the view was beautiful. During our stay it was very windy thus getting in the ocean was dangerous but we still got to enjoy the beach. The jacuzzi water was cold and the pool water was also cold for my taste, maybe if it was in the hot hot summer days it would be better. Some of the drinks were awesome some not so good. My favorite the Miami vice and Kahlua with milk, yummy! The shows were great, the karaoke was fun! If you are willing to give up some time ~4 to 6 hrs you can get some of the tours discounted if you sit in on a time share/resort membership that hotels offer. I would recommend to a friend as long as they know it is not a 5 star hotel. Most definitely a money saver....

just back from this hotel, it was just me and my 2 young kids. Cant fault the food, the staff or the room or location, great value for money. My only suggestion would be to have a heated swimming pool, as the water was quite cold and due to the very strong winds at this time of year plus beach location you couldnt actually feel the heat that much making a swim in cool water not too appealling, didnt stop my kids though.

Its a good hotel for that price. Staff is very friendly and service was great. We enjoy the food especially a new menu in the restorant were you need reservation. Every night there was entertainment in the hotel if you decide to stay in. They have live music nights, movie or Mexican performance. It was a fun vacation!!!

BelleVue (Hoteteur) Beach Paradise isn't the cleanest, fanciest or most up-to-date hotel in Cancun. It's not trendy, it's not the newest resort and the it is one of the smaller properties. But that's all the bad news there is. What you get when you go to Beach Paradise is a friendly staff who learn you by the end of the week, relatively good food and a great stretch of beach. The drinks are small but plentiful, the pool is always nice and the entertainment staff is top-notch. This is not for the high-end one-trip-blowout resort... Not for a prissy pampered crowd, but for a seasoned couple who vacation on a regular basis and appreciate a resort with the tools to have a great time, at a very affordable price. It's not a SANDALS, but for the price I can come here twice as often!

Staff were pleasant and genuinely cared about my experience. All-inclusive meals and drinks were great! The variety of available food options and dining options was exceptional! The view was terrific, except the buildings hid some sunlight toward the late afternoon. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants to relax, have fun, and get a really good deal!

We e-mailed in advance asking for a high floor and ocean view, and they put us in the top floor, in a suite! The service is awesome and the resort is clean. The food is decent, and always offers 3 choices cooked fresh at the omelette station. Vacation is what you make of it, and this place sets you up great to make a fantastic time!

Can't beat the value any where in Cancun for a all inclusive on the beach resort. low key..friendly..not crowded..right on the water...clean....All the food and drink you need.. Food was fresh....tasty...and cooked it to your order on the grill if you wanted...the rest of the buffet was aways kept full and fresh..the pool buffet of burgers..dogs,,nachos and more with all the condiments was good too. Pool games...activites inside and out too. Rooms are big and clean....try to get the balcony rooms on the sides or corners..the ocean front ones are right in front with big window views...but NO balconys. ASK for a different room if you are not satisfied every day till you are! I ended up with a killer ocean front corner with balcony Cons not 5 star quality...but good. Older Dated resort...some touch up is needed..like broken tiles...old fixures..burtnothing major No free Wi-Fi...

we just returned from the Bellevue Paradise Beach Resort and loved it. The service was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. the food was very good. We liked everything about it . It was very clean. The only suggestion we had was that they could change up the lunch menu a bit. We liked that is was quiet but yet still there were people around. Not too much crazy loud things going on. If you just want to get away and lay on the beach or by the pool it was right there just a few steps away.We loved our view from our room . The ocean view rooms are a must. We have stayed at nicer places but for the cost of our trip this was exactly what we had in mind. We spent most of our time out by the beach! Not there to stay in the room. The food is very good and they have a great variety. We would go back again. Also you can jump on a bus and go into Cancun for shopping and night life. Very cheap for the bus ride. Check with the front desk for questions first on where to get off the bus. They were very helpful.
