Stay away!!

Room was small with only one chair. Toilet/shower area was cramped and separated from the main room only by a concertina-type door.

Bella Vista was good value for money - very clean and reasonably comfortable. However facilities are minimal. Breakfast was poor - lots of lovely local bread but cheap ham and cheese, cheap cakes and croissant in packets & a nescafe machine. Less variety and better quality would have been nice. We did not try the restaurant in the evening! The receptionists were surly and did not try to be friendly and local information was in short supply. A bus timetable would be useful. Two or three nice restaurants in the village and Alghero only 20 mins by bus. Bus service excellent and cheap. Good beaches close by - follow road past Ponte Negro hotel & go through the woods- 15 minute walk - we had the beach to ourselves until Sat and Sun . Buses to and from airport connect with flights and drop off in Fertilla. If you want a cheap hotel with not too many frills, you're independent and don't mind off hand welcome then the Bella Vista should suit you!

no aircondition switched on in the rooms so very very hot. Location is .great but there is nothing to do and only one bus to alghero an hour and that wasnt reliable

This is a very quiet hotel in March and provided good but basic bed and breakfast accommodation 6 kms from Alghero.
