Belize City Climate
Belize City experiences a subtropical climate, which has two main seasons: dry and rainy. Most rainfall happens between the months of June and November; however, the rainfall may vary yearly. The dry season generally occurs from December to May, and summer can get really hot and humid, while the months of September and October are susceptible to tropical storms.
Getting There & Around
There are several buses that run from other surrounding areas to Belize City. The Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) is the nearest airport. Getting a taxi from the airport is quite common and convenient.
The economical choice to get around is to take a bus. The city's prime attractions are accessible by walking. Visitors can also hire local taxis with green license plates.
