Really convenient location on 75th and Broadway. There is a great food market just across the road, there are good diners/restaurants nearby, the subway was on 72nd Street again very handy. we couldn't fault this hotel, my husband and I stayed there with our 2 teenage sons in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment which was excellent, loads of room for all of us. There is a laundry on the 7th floor which was great as we'd been travelling for 2 weeks! Would recommend this hotel for families.

My main gripe is the room was really small. It had a double bed in the room which I was occupying on my own, was just as well as there would wasn't enough room for two people to share. The other facilities in the bedroom were very good apart from the fact that you could not get to the sink easily as the unit was partially blocked by a wall. Also the air conditioning was quite noisy. I switched off the main unit as it was so loud but there was still a drone in the one corner of the room, this stopped if you opened the bedroom door but commenced again as soon as you shut it. The check in was quick and the concierge staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. There were loads of places very near the hotel to eat out or to buy ready cooked meals to take back to the room and a number of good shops of all types. Subway conveniant and the hotel was a walkable distance from time square - about half an hour in all.

Great location near Central Park and handy to subway. Wonderful view of New York skyline from our room. Recently refurbished, with excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities. Very clean. Would definitely go back - I highly recommended the Beacon Hotel.

A clean, well run hotel on the upper west side close to the No. 1 subway line and the Lincoln Center. Room was recently re-decorated and of acceptable size, and contained electric hot plates and microwave. Helpful, cheerful staff and a convenient Diner next door. I would certainly stay there again. Price is reasonable (for New York).

A very clean, friendly and helpful hotel. The position of this hotel is excellent, great to be so near the underground station, Central Park, an excellent supermarket, a great place to stay even for the first traveller to NY.
