Location
Beachfront Hotel Hokitika is situated in the centre of the West Coast, 1.5 hours drive from the Glaciers and an hour from Punakaiki Pancake Rocks. Hokitika is sandwiched between surf, river and mountains and is a gateway to the South Westland World Heritage National Park. This hotel is on the beachfront and offers easy access to town.
Rooms
The hotel features 53 rooms in two wings where Ocean View wing has 30 deluxe and executive rooms, each with an ocean view and steps from the beach. The Driftwood wing offers 23 rooms, which provide comfort with easy access to town.
Restaurant
Guests can dine at the on-site Ocean View Restaurant boasting stunning sunsets and delicious local cuisine. Also available is the charming street-side Driftwood Cafe offering light meals and snacks.
General
The conference or special events facility is an ideal place to host your business meetings, seminars and special events for 80-100 people. Hokitika offers great outdoor activities, with local golf courses and numerous rivers, lakes and bush tracks being just minutes away.

Accommodation in the Ocean view Suite was magnificant. We were very disappointed with the restaurant facilities. Meals were very overpriced and not adequate. Breakfast was a disaster in the cafe attached to the complex. A lot could be done to enhance the restaurant situation. Not recommended for dining.

Stayed in old part which is in need of redecoration. Broken light fittings and broken tiles. The picture only shows the new building which is deceptive.

Excellent position, clean, cosy, friendly service, value for your money, something that now a days is not always found. They will see us there again and again. We recommend it very highly.

Excellent rooms and good food in the evening. The breakfast service was sloppy and the offerings were very poor. Better breakfasts would add a lot to the place.
