Located in the bay of Boca Chica, one of the most famous beaches of the Dominican Republic, the hotel is just a few minutes drive from the International Airport Las Americas and a 20-minute drive from Colonial Zone.

The All inclusive is a deal, It was the best Price we could find, My wife wants to go again at least for a weekend, we really enjoy the time spend in this hotel - recommended -, It has a beautiful view of the beach, drinks and food are great. We also went to the pelicano restaurant which is located at the hotel near the beach ( a place to enjoy a beautiful moment with a loved one).

After reading all the negative reviews about this hotel, I was VERY worried about my upcoming stay with my family. What a RELEIF when we arrived and was greeted by Milton at the reception area. He took the time to show us to our room and let US make the decision if we wanted to upgrade or not. We decided to upgrade to a room with a view of the Ocean. It was PERFECT ! Food was very good. Plenty of varieties and you never got tired of the same food. Something different each day. The Beach was great. No waves and you could walk out 300 yards and the water was only up to your shoulders. The Bars were great and various to choose from. There was always some place open to eat if you choose to. They had activities every day to keep you occupied, if you wanted to participate. Or you could just relax and enjoy a cool drink in the sun. The best part of our experience there was the Staff. You couldn't ask for better service or more friendlier people. They were always willing to help you with a SMILE! My best advise to all you people that don't speak Spanish is LEARN THE BASICS ! Remember, you are in a Country that speaks SPANISH ! Try to speak their language and they will bend over backwards to try to understand you. It's like someone coming to the States and not speaking English. If a person tries to speak English, you try to help them. Right? I believe that all the people with negative reviews are people who couldn't speak or understand the language. This is not the fault of the people who live there! Again, learn the basics of Spanish and you will enjoy yourselves as much as we did. The only negative part of our stay was on Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is filled with the local people. The average wait to get into the Buffee was a hour and a half. My suggestion is get up at 8 AM and make a reservation for one of the three restaurants that are open for dinner. That way you avoid the line at the buffee. Or take a trip to Santo Domingo or the Islands on these two days. On Sunday at 7 PM, all returns to normal. Thanks again to the Staff at Be Live Hamaca and we look forward to coming back!

We are coming to this hotel twice a year on average. The best beach in Carribean. Beachfront building is comfortable, though plumbing could be maintained better (this is a problem in all DR). Decent food. Friendly bar service (local liquors).Outdated reception/ telephone equipment. Close to the airport (15 min) and to the capital Santo Domingo (25 min) -one of the greatest cities in Latin America. I wish more staff at the hotel and the International airport Santo Domingo speak English.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall we had a great experience. We had reserved a room with the garden view but these rooms are really outdated and old. So, we upgraded the next day and got a really nice room with an ocean and pool view. The food was good, the shows are great and tbe hotel staff is wonderful. For the price we paid, it is worth it!
