I was skeptical about this Hotel after reading the reviews and all I can say is I did not have any problems or complaints. My room was very clean, I enjoyed all the Hotel ammenities and the great breakfast in the morning. I will stay here again everytime I pass thru the area it is a wonderful hotel

Property was very run down. Looked like it was in the process of renovation but left a lot to be desired. We rented two rooms with sofa beds. They didn't have enough Bedding for one of the sofa beds much less both. One room was very smokey and they tried to deodorize it but it didn't help much. Breakfast bar was pretty good, well stocked but they need more than one toaster.

We checked in between 2:00 and 3:00 in the morning. Staff were very nice. The directions we had were horrible. I was able to call the hotel and Dusty lead us right in. The front of the hotel does not have a graduating incline going in or coming out (there is a small section with a rail). Since my wife did not realize this, she fell into the parking lot while coming out of the lobby before we even made it to our room. The staff offered to get her some bandages and an antiseptic. The parking was terrible! There were very limited spaces and someone with a wide truck had taken up too much space so we couldn't park by our door. We reported this to the hotel staff and they said they would make him move. He parked like that until a day before we left (so much for making him move). The room itself looked fairly clean but the bathroom had mold growing in the tile cracks around the tub. The location is about 30 mins from the beach. The beaches do not allow dogs, so it's not a good location unless you want to leave your pet kenneled in the room for several hours while you are gone. There is a Huddle House within a short walking distance so getting breakfast was fairly convenient. The hotel does serve what they call a continental breakfast but the choices are very few and they stop serving around 9:00 or 9:30, so if you like to sleep in, you are out of luck. You do have to remember that you are paying a budget price, so you get what you pay for. It is located next door to a shopping mall, so if you want somewhere you can shop, it's very convenient. There is also a WalMart close by if you need to pick up something that you forgot to take.

The hotel was very quite and nice compared to reviews that were written prior to us going we were a little surprise when we got there....I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere inexpensive and nice....

Don't expect this to be like other Baymont Inns. It is old, stinky and has very minimal amenities. Don't expect sheets on the fold out couches, cups in the rooms, or even remote controls for the tv. The breakfast looked so bad that we went out to eat. I have stayed at other Baymont Inns and had a very good experience, this was not good.
