Oceanfront Condo in a set of three buildings with many pools, hot tubs, lazy rivers. You just can't go wrong! Highly recommend this place. Friendly staff - clean and well maintained.

our stay at baywatch was great....... the only bad part about it was the beds! they were hard as a rock!!!!!!!!! they need to get some softer beds!!!!!!!! plus there were some squashed bugs on the walls in the bathroom! the rest of the hotel was great......the hotel was close to some good restaurants and shops.....plus this time of year it is less crowded. we really enjoyed it. you definately should rent a car if you plan to go out evey day. its a good hotel for the money in a good location. i would like to go back in the summertime

We arrived late on Friday night. They gave us a one bedroom with a king, and our reservation was for two double beds. We had to go back down to the desk and ask for the correct room. After we got to the second room everything was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast both days in the dining room down stairs. The breakfast was very good. One teacher was a Weight Watcher and one teacher was on Atkins, and the menu accommodated both. We rented an umberalla and spent the day on the beach. We were not crazy about the wrist band idea. This was our third visit to the Bay Watch. Check-out was no hassle.

Room has worn carpet and some smudges but no bugs. Was clean and comfortable with a great view. Hotel lights up the beach at night. Elevators were quick. Pool areas were attractive and very clean! We were awakened after 11 pm for a fridge repair (wrong room) * on return from the beach , our room had been half cleaned and the door left ajar by the deadbolt. nothing was missing, but you have to wonder if it was a mistake and forgotten job, or a plan for someone to shop in our room...

We took our first trip to Myrtle Beach on 7/24/2011. I absolutely love the fact that there is so much to do in Myrtle Beach. Unfortunately, I do not have anything good to say about the Bay Watch Resort hotel. I will summarize here...but I would not recommend families who are used to a nice, clean room to sleep, lounge or cook here. Here's a list of disturbing issues:1) Upon arrival, checking in was a nightmare. The computers were down (understandable), staff was unprofessional and the lobby was very wet. 2) The eleveators to the room were filthy dirty (advised kids never to go bare-foot), the walls were dirty, the hallways had a musty odor. 3) Upon arriving to the room, I knew right away that I'd made the biggest mistake booking this hotel. The place was not clean at all. The decor was extremely dated, walls dirty, light bulbs blown out, no hangers in the closet, bathroom counter dirty, kitchen floor not mopped, stove dirty, refridgerator exterior dirty, living room couch worn and not clean, curtains to the sliding glass door were filthy, had holes, etc. 4) The toilets did not flush properly. You had to hold down the handle for at least 30 secs. When taking a shower, the water would rise to the mid-calf. We had to physically pour water down the toilet to assist in flushing waste (sorry, but this is a true story). We called the manager at the hotel and she did not even apologize. I explained how dissatisfied we were and she said that she could try to find a better room at the 2-bedroom cost. Why would I want to stay in another dirty room at this place? [...] I was not happy about this at all! We planned to cook food to save money (a family of 6 is expensive to feed); however, we refrigerated the groceries and chose to take them back home instead. I just could not cook and prepare food in that kitchen/environment. We spent additional money eating out the whole time we were there. While this was one of the worse vacation experiences my family has ever encountered, we loved Myrtle Beach overall. I will try to find a really clean place to stay next time. The reviews were mixed when it came to Bay Watch; however, after experiencing the hotel for myself, 1 star is the best I can give it!
