Base St. Kilda Hostel Guest Reviews
I checked our after 1 night of my 3 night stay. The noise was constant all Night throughout the hostel, there were no assigned beds, very poor storage facilities, bathroom was in the dorm room. One of the worst hostels I've stayed in.

If you like party hostels, this is the one for you. A bit loud at times, but I had some bloody awesome roommates so it made my experience much more worthwhile. Good service, very nice staff, and overall I had quite an experience!

It was night mare! We Check in on Thursday eve and they have a club at the lobby! Loud and very uncomfortable. Weakness: - Surrounding area not so "safe" - Noisy (Dance club on ground floor, right in front of tram) - Price too high - very small room - Bed too soft - No Remote control for TV and Air con - you can listen clearly whats happening at the corridor when people walking, talking, open the door, close the door....etc Good: - Very friendly Reception (Luke) - Free parking across the road (24 hr) - huge kitchen area

Cheap and efficient. Not suitable for those looking for pin drop silence as it doubles up as a night club.

Bad service & the bed & linen not even change when I arrive, so I have to get out the following day because I did not get enough sleep, it's toooooo noisy.
